There is a need for continuous improvement to justify the price On my opinion: Changes should be made to the closing times. There is no need to be open 24/7, but at least close at 11pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. There is also a need for better equipment, compared to gyms like Bannatyne and The Gym; Virgim Active has a limited variety of machines.

They need to have a better account manager (Eva), who should care more about the client. They charge me £40 more than I pay usually, after so many phone calls and fake promises from Eva, still waiting to get the money back.

The gym is good, although the space for free weights is not enough. Some of the staff is not helpful at all. Once i finished my workout and filling my shaker bottle with water. Due to sweat it slipped out of my hand when i was trying to tighten the lid. The protein shake spilt out in the walk way, it wasn’t a lot as i quickly grab it before the bottle gets emptied. I straightaway put the wet floor sign as the gym wasn’t much busy, a PT working nearby came handed me a roll of tissue and left, i end up cleaning the floor and than handed back the tissue roll at the reception 😀😀. I guess a good lesson not to tighten the shaker bottle lid with wet hands. The reception lady was really sorry when she heard it all.

Closed early today for staff Xmas do. No problem with that, but battling through Saturday traffic on the Quays to find out at the desk 40 mins before closing is just rubbish customer service.

I've been a member since 2016 and I've loved every single session I had, from the gym floor to the dry and steam saunas, the gym is top and I think it's good quality for money. Personnel is friendly and always there to help you. I had a PT for 9 months who taught me how to train and how to eat - it was a great learning experience.

Lovely gym with fantastic facilities. Disappointing you can enter hot sauna with a stranger but you are not allowed to sit in the hot tub with a member of your household, wish i had been told this upon joining as there is no date when this will change despite restrictions being lifted. Even their own staff agree the stupidity of this.
