They're struggling a little coming out of lockdown but so is everywhere I suppose! Other than a bit of a faff over breakfast with long queues and limited offering, a lovely stay yet again. The gym is well equipped, sanitary and feels safe to be in, dinner in the restaurant was very very nice with great service. Rooms were OK..!

Do not book with these people!. Rude, arrogant and refused a refund for 3 nights!. Didnt even try to work with me. Even charged me for the breakfast I didn't have. Stay clear of these thief's. I regularly used to use the chain as I stay away 4 nights a week but they have lost my custom. The manager there is a very unreasonable person.

Lovely hotel, one of the nicest ive stayed in. But only 4 stars for the fact that you cant just pop downstairs for a drink unless you've booked a table. Not a problem with this but wasnt told before staying and when i asked for a table just to have a quick drink in a really quiet period where there was over 20 free tables the guy behind the desk actually was quite rude and starting moaning that he would have to go and wipe one down and we MUST vacate it by 6pm, this was at half 3!!

2/ 5

Room fine, staff we encountered were pleasant & courteous, especially lady greeting us at breakfast who was very helpful as I have slight mobility issues. We were very disappointed that there is only now an "open to all" PUB within the premises for food & drink. We were looking for the Italian restaurant noted on a website and on all lift floor signage. We were therefore unable to celebrate our anniversary without leaving the hotel. Evidently this restaurant closed 2 years ago. Please update all references online & within your premises. As a mature couple we will never visit this "business people's" hotel again. I would not have paid this amount to stay above a PUB! Room sockets not in suitable position to use hairdryer in front of mirror! Had to move kettle to safer place to use. Attention to details in room necessary

More like YMCA with a gym than a hotel, no real reception to speak off got to do it for your self, windows in the room don't shut properly so lots of road noise, carpet all stained and needs a good clean loo seat creaks more than a honeymooners bed when you use it. Place is open to none resident to use the gym and pool with user in and out all day long so you have little chance of a quite swim or dip. Good points ... good shower / bath very very comfy bed huge TV with sky but that's it ..... we will not be back poor and outcome now looking forward to go home.
