I enjoyed my overnight stay very much. The staff were helpful the room was nice and the breakfast this morning was wonderful The staff organising breakfast were particularly pleasant and helpful despite being very busy. I would stay here again if I was visiting Hull. Thank you for a lovely overnight stay and super English breakfast

Stayed here a few years ago and loved it. Stayed here last week, August 2021, very disappointed. The rooms are far too hot, windows only open a couple of inches. Fan provided , but it is noisy and really doesn't make any difference. Breakfast has gone downhill compared to a few years ago. Only egg choice is scrambled, over cooked, like rubber. Choice of fruit was dismal. Coffee was tasteless and powdery, definitely not fresh. Staff are slow to replenish the 'fresh' orange juice. There were teabags but no hot water. Just a complete shambles. Everything is up sell. Extra for breakfast, extra to use the swimming pool and £5 a night to park in their own car park. Shocking!

Staying here in the week for a few months with work commitments and been here now about six weeks. Had an issue with the room on my first stay and this was resolved professionally and promptly and couldn't fault the service and resolution. The staff are polite and the check in process very slick and modern. The pool and facilities are excellent with plenty of free parking. I was upgraded to the 5th floor rooms which are much better than the lower floor rooms so would recommend paying more if your budget can stretch. The only criticism and why I have only rated as good, is that the decor and rooms are starting to look a little tired and could do with refurbishment and the temperature inside the rooms has been almost unbearable due to no air conditioning which isn't helped with the restrictions on the windows not fully opening in some of the rooms. The fans in the room are nice touch but I would recommend employing a handy man to go around all of the rooms and remove the restrictions on the windows so they can fully open to provide some relief from the heat.
