Bed and pillows are comfortable. Room space is decent and the hotel is just opposite Raffles Hospital and is just a short walk to Bugis/Bugis Junction/Bugis Street. Good place for budget travellers. Check in is quite slow though.

Checked in was smooth and hotel called 1 day earlier to confirm check in time. Room was considered large for Singapore standards, but it was really dusty. The quality of the TV was not very clear. Bathtub mat had a weird smell. Hotel doesn't provide water bottles.

Used to work at Bugis many years back and always wanted an opportunity to explore this area so decided to stay 1 night here and booked via Agoda. When I checked in, the toilet flush switch was loose so the hotel gave me another room right away. I was not expecting very much on the service but my hubby felt the toilet features were kind of dated. Bath-tub was long and narrow and there is no standing shower. The bed was king-sized which was good. The cupboard is big but did not have any drawers to put clothes. I told him it was because I wanted to also explore Arab street area so this is the nearest hotel. His overall conclusion was that it is high time that the hotel do an 'overhaul' in order to stay relevant.

Overall a pleasant stay. The room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable and bathroom clean and functional. Value for money. Could be improved in managing the queue at the reception as individuals arriving later being served first because of the inadequacy of the queueing system. The bathroom door needs repairing due to wear and tear. The walls and ceiling a bit 'thin'. And you can hear movements in the room next door and above. Not terribly disturbing but could be better.

The room was spacious but it was a connecting room. The occupants who uses the next room smoke a lot. Often the cigarette smokes will enter my room and It is unpleasant. I have called the lobby many times and they only send their room service to spray air refresher. It was not a permanent solution rather temporarily. I hope this hotel are strict with their policy.
