I am a member of the Gym, here. Its a little over priced for what you get, I've used gyms with kit in much better condition for less. However the staff are really nice, and as a member you get 25% off in the bar and resteraunt and also rooms and events. I eat here occasionally and I am Vegan, even though there is nothing vegan on the menu, If you ask the staff they are more than happy to get something put together for me. I would give it five stars but do think its a over priced for what it is.

Pool is tatty with bits of mosaic tile missing everywhere. Lots of grit on the floor around the bubbler, clearly dont clean the pool...ever. Toilets often disgusting through the whole hotel Broken latches on shower cubicles Idiot behaviour in the pool not addressed Hairdyers often only work on cold The toilets are genuinely awful for a hotel The toilet by the family changing is beyond gross with puddles which you never know whether its pee or water, door is swollen and the lock loose. Basically they need to spend some money tidying it up and not just glossing the skirting

This is my regular gym and love some of the classes where I attend regularly. Pilates and Swiss balls are the one which I regularly go to. I have been to gym couple of times. There are quite few equipment. I have used the cross trainer, stepper and bike very good and sophisticated equipment. Love the TV screen. You can enjoy telly time along with doing some exercise. Would highly recommend it.

Poor communication would be fine, non existnet communication. Just don't answer the phone. This is the only way I can communicate with them short of driving down and walking in! So checking another review there was a different number that was provided to the main site, that number was answered...so at least should now be sorted. Facilites are great, as are the staff once you are speaking to them!

1/ 5

Good swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi when it's working, and good selection of training machines. Low rating as once they get your subscription, they don't care. The complaints procedures are non existent, (they do not reply to emails) and the management are poorly informed of their own policies.

1/ 5

Village Gyms reaction to wales restrictions is beyond ridiculous, if people are scared of covid then stay at home. Also people are being selfish with the two at a time facilities like sauna/ steam room, saw one lying on the floor so they could stay for ages, just unfair. Then the management have the gall to increase prices? Service is getting worse, do not bother joining here!
