I don’t often do things like this but I feel it needs to be said and acted upon. I attended body pump last night, my usual instructor was away and Dan Scott was covering the class. He is an exceptional teacher. I honestly can’t think of the proper words to convey how special he is. He worked us really hard ( I’ve been doing pump for years) but all the while making us smile and keeping the mood upbeat. I had forgotten how good he is as I hadn’t done a class with him for a very long time. He has a special talent of making everyone feel included and making the class such fun which is a really hard thing to do in pump! He deserves high praise and everyone who meets him knows they are richer for it.

Joined the gym paying 1 year up front which included £200 of vouchers in the bar and grill. Covid put the membership on hold. No communication over what was happening with membership as they had the wrong email address 'apparently'. I had a couple of £20 vouchers come through and when phoning to find out where the rest were and what was happening to the membership I was told it had already expired and couldn't give me the vouchers as my membership has expired. This genuinely baffles me that they think they can just not honour an offer because they had to close due to covid. No apologies, no way to raise complaints and appallingly dealt with by the manager of Bournemouth Village. Plenty of better gyms in the area for less money, better equipment, better service, better morals and 100% better food. Whilst on the subject of your menu, it's the most lacklustre menu I have seen. Basically, there are burgers, salads or wraps. All of them poorly presented and extremely poor quality. If the vouchers were not paying for the awful meals I had, they would all have been sent back. To anyone looking at current offers, make sure you get it towards the start of your membership or they won't honour it. And in all honesty I wish I had bought membership elsewhere. I certainly will now.

Good equipment. Plenty of step, cycling and tread Mills. Good selection of weights. Floor area for full body tone. Bring your own drinks though, water taps off due to COVID-19. 😖

Popped my head around the gym door the other day. Wow, so impressed! Well done staff for all your hard work. Pool was lovely. Changing rooms clean. Staff really helpful and friendly. Maintenance man (don’t know his name) rushed off and purchased something for me at the cafe, as I forgot my cards. How nice was that 😁 Thank you all of you ❤️ Can’t be easy trying to keep everyone safe and fit n healthy. And you always get that one customer rattling on about ‘vouchers’ 🙄 Thank you 🙏 xx
