VFS Global India glasgow

The new lady staff are quite good and friendly compared to the older grumpy lady who left. The office seems to be dilapidated even though only a year old. Suggest a catchy decor. It does not give a good impression to foreigners intending to visit India. I hope vfs makes their website more user friendly as the information is scattered and not properly structured.

A bit hard to find at first but I had excellent service with no hassles and visa arrived by courier within 5 days. Biometrics was easy and straightforward. I have used India visa centres many times in Bangkok, Kandy, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The most recent in Glasgow was the best in over 20 years of applications.

The website for refund of payment is so bad, payment and booking system is so out of date. Feedback sent with no update on the system. I do not how many people do not get their refund due to the poor system. It is shocking unfriendly system that you do not expect home office to use.

No one is available for journal enquiry, they are also mobile number switched off

VFS Glasgow office has not opened since the 1st lockdown in UK. The information on google about the opening times and the phone number is incorrect.

Why do they even bother having a website and phone number if they cant even update it regularly or atleast leave a voicenote on the phone number rather than switching it off....

I had really bad experience with vfs global i gave my Indian passport for a renewal last year in March 2020 still not received my passport yet every time when I phone the passport office Edinburgh they shows attitude and been very rude . Put the phone down on me so many times .very very frustrated because I want to go see my family .when I submitted my application in vfs the lady wrote my date of birth wrong now im having problems getting my passport back please people don't use this company ever again they don't help you at all there's no contact at all these don't deserve even 1 star its been 14 months since I give my passport for renewal still no sign of it 😢

What a disgusting bunch of community. The office apparently is closed for the last 5 days. There is no notice whatsoever when you enter the building. I can’t believe I have had to press 1 star for this business which thy don’t even deserve. There were old people walking in during covid times as they were called in. But the office folks have decided to close with no consideration for updating the changed status of their opening times on online platforms. And the phone number given here is switched off. At least keep that online to give information.
