It's nothing fancy but a good gym and excellent value for money. Everything is new, clean and well maintained. The only minor thing is around lockers - it's unnecessarily complicated with lockers upstairs requiring your own padlock and the lockers downstairs requiring coins. I'd prefer both to be replaced with one of the dozen solutions that doesn't require any planning or preparation on customers' side.

Great place, great view, swimming pool and sauna with decent size gym. I wish the gym was bigger and better equipped. Great for the ordinary person. Gets a bit frustrating when you begin to focus on body building as free weight section is small and has to be shared. Not a huge compromise given the location of the gym. I still like it.

I went today for the first time for a swim. The place is modern, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool however is narrow with only one window at one end of the pool for daylight. So it has the feel of a basement swim, with little connection to the outside World.

Headed here for lane swimming today and it was pretty good! Very clean, one way system in the building for Covid. Pre-booked via Better gym app Mixed changing rooms with changing cubicles and family size showers with lockable doors. The lockers take £1 and you get it back. The pool itself only had 2 lanes set up, and its only 25m so quite small overall. But with the booking system it shouldn’t get too busy. Stair and ladder access into pool

Outstanding from all points of view. The staff are well trained and extremely helpful, the whole gym is very clean and well equipped, the pool is amazing and the showers are super nice and hot. Overall I believe that is one the best Better Gyms in London.

I've been going to this gym, and it's spotless and fancy! The swimming pool is too small, unfortunately, but I liked it when they had wider swimming lanes so I wouldn't have had to touch other swimmers accidentally. I would recommend signing up if you live close by.

1/ 5

Here it is: The staff are enforcing the rules really well and it is very very good on this. However, today it went a bit further than enforcing the rules. It went on punishing clients for no reasons and without any proves. On one hand, the staff had the full reason to close the steaming room as some customers clearly do not understand the rules and have broken them by either shaving (yeah, weird enough or using essential oils). Yet, it punished the customers in the sauna room, by kicking us out 50 min before the closing time, with no proves whatsoever for rules being broken. I have been in the sauna room and no one broke the rules. Yet it was closed. Yet got odd answers when asked why: 'we need to make people understand they rules have to be respected' or another reason , 'there is 50 min anyway before it closes'. Well, what about those who make an effort to come only for those 50 min? Clearly, if there are no broken rules in one room then do not punish people, yet close the room with the problems only. Then, guess what? I went and discussed with the manager and to check if that was legitimised approach to close both rooms when clearly only one room had a problem. Actually the manager told me he did not know the two rooms were closed, he knew only of the steaming room. And he agreed it shouldn't suppose to be like that, it was unfair. Also, one of the staff told me that I talk too much without listening. I did listen, I did agree with the steaming room being closed as the rules were broken, but I cannot agree to be kicked out from the sauna and clearly no one has admitted the sauna had broken rules, including the staff. Way too harsh to punish customers. As a matter of fact, I canceled the next debit card payment for the December month.
