Overpriced. Not a bad massage, but you could get a better massage for half the price in a shopping centre. The masseuse felt a bit inexperienced. Not terrible, just slightly sub-par and therefore, overpriced. I filled out on the tablet where on the body to focus on, and then communicated these spots at the start and during the massage. The masseuse just gave a generic everywhere a little bit massage with no specific focus. I also booked a deep tissue massage. It wasn’t deep tissue. I understand everyone has different pressure level they prefer or expect, but I asked for harder and most of the massage was relaxing soft touch and by no definition deep tissue. It was nice enough, but not what was advertised. I’m 6’2” so the hot towel at the end to wipe the oil off got cold by the time my arms were done. Some care in getting a new one goes a long way when you’re paying for a day spa quality - just a lack of attention to detail which elevates a massage above your standard shopping centre quality. The masseuse also made no effort to query her pressure or technique or at any point. I initiated, but still, it’s a basic thing a masseuse should to at some point ask or just check in so they can make the massage experience ideal. The atmosphere and ambiance were lovely though. They’ve got a really calming cool setup and the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. I feel overcharged and left feeling unsatisfied.
