Uxbridge Library london

The internet is fast, the staff are nice and friendly. The college students sometime talk loudly and make a lot of noise, and no one from the staff take action. But all in all and comparing to other libraries, it is one of the best.

Everytime I go there, there are a lot of inconsiderate fatherless kids either talking on the 5th (Silent Study) floor or playing music out loud through their headphones. Library staff are not doing enough to enforce the rules. It's annoying that I have to go all the way to central London to study in peace.

I normally don't leave negative reviews but unfortunately I have to. I have been going to this library for two years now. I love the amount of books this library offers and how polite the staff is, it has a great potential. However, this might be the last time I come here, there is a point where someone says enough. No one regulates the amount of noise, it is so difficult trying to study and focus on the study area where a group of kids, sometimes 17/18 year olds behave like wild animals, clapping and sometimes even singing. It frustrates me how such an amazing library does 0 to end this problem. I know many people of my college don't even think of stepping in this library because of the noise. Literally, no one does anything. And it sad to see so many people leaving the library because of this issue. I believe there will be one day where people won't come to the library to study anymore but to have a social meeting with their friends to talk about the latest gossip. I'm leaving.

This library is super noisy. I came here because they are open for long hours but it's too noisy.

Most beautiful and feel like home is Uxbridge library.

Library is good. Hope it can stay open for extended hours. Covid reason should be valid now.

Lots of books and people working here are very nice and helpful

So helpful - they can't do enough to help! Really organised with social distancing measures. I felt very safe in there. Thanks to Andy for being helpful and proactive in suggesting a community group for me.
