Urban Village Medical Practice manchester

I am fortunate to be enrolled in this practice . The practice is an exemplary for health care. Their Client centred care is Excellence in service delivery. They go extra mile to all. Recently a 90 year old gentleman who was waiting to see the GP and said he has been attending this practice for 17yrs and said this is the best practice he attended and I can say the same thing. " Thank You " UVMP.

I suffer from extremely bad anxiety and I struggle really badly with Doctor appointments. They were amazing here. Just amazing. I can not believe just how much better they are than my previous GP.

Do not go here to register GP. Worst experience with the receptionist. I searched on NHS GP finder and found out about here, and made my way there. Only to be told by the receptionist lady after I’ve filled out the form, that they’ve “updated” and I should check on their website. She said I definitely do not live within the area but she couldn’t show me the exact page on my phone. If receptionist can’t how will I be able to? She acted very arrogantly too. I’m an exchange student. Maybe she didn’t wanted non-British...

I’ve been in Manchester 10 years and this has been the best GP I have been with. Dr Marland and the receptionist staff have been supportive and very accommodating.

Edited 3 starts to 5. The 3 starts were given because it was hard to get in touch with the practice (1*) but once you got through you received superb treatment (5*). I'm changing the score as I believe the team has been doing better at making themselves available to their patients (at least in my experience). Plus, the doctors are really engaged and give you enough attention to help you resolve your issues. They are a really good example of how a GP practice can operate.

The best doctors I've ever had, they're so efficient and consistent. Their online services are so well thought out and easy to use. They get back to you very quickly and always let you know how long you might have to wait for a response. Their staff are friendly and helpful, the chemist is attached to the practice. The building is clean, easy to find and spacious. They have actually solved problems for me. Fairly central, but quiet and peaceful location. Public transport access is quite good, 4 minutes walk from New Islington tram stop.

My experience with Dr. Greenlaw was great. However, It takes ages to get in touch with the reception which isnt fun when you are sick and then after waiting for an hour they just ask you to fill a form online and then reply without even reading whats in the form so have to wait in queue for another hour to talk to reception who just wont connect me to the doctor. I guess they’re asking people to use the form because of having lots of calls for covid in the past but it will just be easier and quicker for everyone if they could just sort it out on the phone instead of a constant back and forth.Its like talking to a machine instead of a human that’s just following a script. But telling sick patients to go to the practice website in every instance is a bit ridiculous. Some changes in procedure and administration could be made.

My Doctor is the best Dr Greenlaw She is very thorough, I have been unwell for many years and has sent me for multiple tests scans etc she’s always phones me personally to see how I’m doing and how the medication is working. I just feel she always goes the extra mile. Ensuring her patient s are in good health.

Excellent care. Submitted online form at 8.30. Call from a doctor 20 minutes later. Dr Follon was very friendly and caring. Prescription received. Thank you.
