Bought some running shoes that fitted perfectly. Expert advice and friendly service. Shoes were not cheap but they used their treadmill and camera to check on running gait and matched to a great shoe. Totally not pushing for expensive sale. Would thoroughly recommend.

I went to check if I needed new running shoes as I have developed some knee pain. The manager and another member of staff carefully evaluated my running gait and then decided that my current shoes are fine and there must be another problem. They could easily have sold me something but are clearly very honest and professional. Lots of experience but friendly and approachable. I'll definitely go back when I need new shoes assuming I sort out my knee!

Bought a pair of running shoes - very friendly and helpful staff even tho I didn't look like the usual type of customer when I came in all clad in motorbike gear. Once down to my tracksuit trousers and a tee-shirt, then on to the machine to analyse my gait and pair of trainers recommeded. Very good experience, have just sent my wife there as she needs new running shoes too.

Friendly helpful staff who did gait analysis on me and told me that my old running shoes were still fine and not to buy new ones until they had worn out.

Excellent service. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. A great range of footwear and a treadmill to try before you buy. There is also plenty of information on up coming events and clubs in the area. For the newbie runners it’s a must, equally relevant for the veteran runner.

I visited the Bristol store today 29/12/21 and was served and advised by Nick. We had a discussion about the type of running I was going to be doing..... distances/terrains and so forth. He had a detailed knowledge of each shoe he showed me. This, along with endless patience and attention made sure I bought the right shoes for me. Excellent friendly service, a great choice and covid-secure shop. Thank you Nick! 10/10.

Have to agree with Sue Black on this one about the poor service from the young female with red hair (sorry I didn't catch a name) I went into the shop slightly intimidated as I haven't been running in over a year. I was excited to get back to it and start correctly getting a gait test I was greeted warmly by the older gentleman I had some friendly chatter with but unfortunately I was left in the hands of this disinterested, cold and frosty associate. Gait test complete I was presented with a selection of trainers (no mention of price points) I asked about the price of them and it went downhill from there. I then asked a follow up question about what type of feet I had and if I was to purchase online what would I be looking to select? She then asked what I would need this information for... I ended up buying some trainers but much like Sue I was keen to get out pronto as I didn't feel welcome at all by this team member.

Could not fault this running shop in any way. The lady today (09/11) was knowledgeable, friendly and very understanding of my needs. I have tried just about every running shop in Bristol over the last few years and this is by far the best.

I found this shop to be completely devoid of energy and advice was not forthcoming. I too was ‘served’ by the young lady as mentioned by Sue, literally no customer service skills whatsoever, and the the older man was there and didn’t acknowledge our presence in the shop whatsoever and offered no help (maybe because we weren’t wearing masks and they seem completely over the top about Covid, even placing the card reader in a plastic bag. I will never shop here again. Terrible experience.

Just bought a new pair of trainers from Up & Running Bristol. They were both so helpful and knowledgeable. I normally try on hundreds of pairs but got to the right ones in 4 sets! I now have a nice pair of Brooks Ghost 13. Also got 10% discount for being a running group member. Thank you guys, will definitely be back!!
