I don't recommend living here, I'm paying such a large bill for catered accommodation, and don't even get to eat. The managers don't even investigate how dinners go missing

Great modern rooms with double bed and newly refurbished bathrooms, small but clean space. Kitchen and living area badly designed and not much thought put in for it's use with flats of 9 people......bit style over substance and v expensive to live here. Campus itself is isolating and miles away from uni and town centre and the promised free bus has been cancelled. Its a 20 minute walk to nearest shop or a bus ride to asda. Lovely view from the hill but stuck in middle of nowhere. The Hub!! ...poor amenities - no shop, bar or community space on site, one cash machine that's never working, and not even access to a uni printer. Staff aren't particularly helpful and don't like to be bothered. Not a great uni experience in these halls

Rooms were really nice and reception was friendly but that’s about it. Flats can hold up to 11 people making it extremely hard to keep flats clean. You aren’t told wether you have a premium room or you don’t they didn’t tell me the correct bed size so I had no sheets when I arrived. They claim to have a restaurant gym and caffe on their website none of which have been open since arriving in September. The worst part about varley park is probably the location. It’s around a 30 minute bus into the city but even better the only bus that goes there is the uni bus which is sometimes full or the public bus which is never on time. Varley park was probably just a good idea more than anything else it’s not very convenient. Wouldn’t recommend especially for the price you end up paying.

Dropping off the middle son to Uni! Due to Covid moving in slots were precooked and what a fantastic difference this made! Plenty of parking at the halls, clean and welcoming entrance and hub. Quiet easily accessible rooms, all lifts working. I cannot fault it.

Rooms are clean and reasonably sized with many sockets for devices. Quite a few storage areas as well. Showers are bit cramped but that was to be expected. Staff are helpful (as mentioned).
