We faced the worst customer service at this branch earlier on today. We were given an appointment with Louise Irvine at 3:30 pm to finalise opening a bank account for my mother. We were told at 4.40 pm that Louise will not be able to see us. Looks like Louise did not give us the correct information regarding the exact documents that were required to open an account during our initial appointment. I had to run around back and forth to get the necessary paperwork and to be told today that there are further requirements. We also got abuse by other staff who did not want to listen to us because of a fault of their colleague. Louise did not have the decency to adhere to her appointment and to face us. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told by Derek that their branch does not have a manager. The saddest part of all is that I've been a loyal TSB customer for over 10 years. I now can't wait to move to another bank. I must admit that I've never received this kind of appalling treatment from any other TSB branch. I intend to take this further and file an official complaint. This definitely won't be the last Louise will hear of this. It was evident today that this specific branch does not care at all about their customers and definitely don't show any respect to their customers. They don't even deserve the one star. They are just busy covering each others mistakes. Does it sound very professional for a bank to make you wait for a hour and ten minutes for an appointment and to tell you after that time that the appointment will not go through. I'm sure they won't even bother reading this review but I will definitely proceed with making a formal complaint and submit the relvant evidence I hold that it was their mistake in the first place. I have rights as a customer and I will no accept to be treated in such a poor manner.

Staff just don't care. Think they're all working to rule. 3 staff, 2 standing about and one cashier, queues out the door. Then get grunted at as you're doing a transaction. Obviously don't like people. Have some decenty will you. Avoid this place at all costs. Head over to Corstorphine, it's worth the extra mile.

A small branch, with not much space to queue when it's busy - although there is a pay in slot if you just want to drop off some cheques and be on your way. OPen Monday - Friday only, although there is an ATM outside. Staff have always been friendly and helpful when I've visited.
