I've been with the practice for two years and very happy with it. It can get very busy during the terms times, but otherwise waiting times were very short. In all situations the staff was welcoming and efficient. Dr Perret is a great specialist and very considerate person. Overall, I can definitely recommend this medical practice

They were negligent twice. I got tested and when I called to request my results they told me they were all normal, nothing to worry about. I booked an appointment anyway (which always takes 1 week unless it's an emergency) and the doctor said she wasn't sure since one of the results hadn't been received. Thus I got tested again. When I called to get my results the operator told me that I had given positive, only to immediately tell me that I was fine now, that I was cured. I was confused so I called again and this time the operator told me that the results were normal and again, nothing to worry about. I was confused by the mixed messages so I book an appointment. The doctor seems confused by my record. We find out that the first test was actually positive and she calls to retrieve the results from the second test. Again, positive. She apologises and says this had happened before and that she will raise the issue in some meeting. She then proceded to explain that the operators don't know what they're doing half the time, that this was bad practice and it shouldn't have happened. I hope they read this and change the software or do whatever they need to do so that operators don't get confused and tell future patients they're fine when they're not. TL;DR the GPs are all good, but in two occasions the operators told me I was fine when I actually wasn't

I have been to this surgery for four years now. They are sometimes kind and helpful with emergency appointments, but the doctors can hardly help with any issue unless one is dying. This seems to be the problem with NHS in general, though.

Negligent doctors. Really poor medical knowledge among several of them. Utterly convinced of a diagnosis despite obvious signs they are wrong. Later proven wrong by tests. No apology, just more inept service. Consistent failure to check medical history resulting in allergic reactions. Both reception staff and doctors also keep making very costly bureaucratic mistakes that mean prescriptions can't be picked up, referrals to clinics made incorrectly, and the list goes on. Then the staff have the cheek to accuse a despairing patient of rudeness. Could probably sue for medical negligence. Avoid if you can.

Absolute joke of a gp surgery. If you take medication or ever think you’ll need medication do no join this practice. They do not take patients needs seriously and the doctors don’t act on what receptionist have been told, if the receptionist even pass on messages that it. On a number of occasions I’ve been better off calling 111 as they have flat out refused to help.

Well trained and empathetic Medical staff. It would be great if Admin staff would communicate better amongst them and would mirror the empathy of the practice in the way issues are dealt with on the phone.

I am very happy with the way I have been treated by this practice. In particular, Dr. Itani has been simply amazing: she has followed a scientific approach and done several checks to understand the root causes of my problem. She has also been very friendly and made me feel at ease. I think 5 stars are not enough to rate this practice. Thank you!

Half of the receptionists are super helpful and half are really unhelpful. When I first joined I was told that they will automatically get my medical records from Scotland but recently discovered this never happened. Nobody bothered to follow up even after I pointed it out. Also discovered information on the medical records they created are wrong! I emailed them to update it but I am not confident they will. I asked to register for their online booking system (as advertised on their website) and 10 days later, I hadn't heard anything back. I phoned today to see what's going on and they told me they forgot about it.. then sent me 2 passwords that didn't work so I had to phone again. I asked if I was doing it correctly and they said they didn't know and told me to try everything... As for the doctors, I always have to call the practice to remind the doctor to call me back to follow up. This time I have been waiting for over two weeks for a follow up but nobody has been in touch yet so I asked for a telephone appointment and I was given one in 2 weeks time, so I will be waiting 4 weeks in total for them to follow up.
