Very clean! Everything is in working order, changing room's are spacious. Showers good. All the equipment is clean, and working. Unlike their Aintree gym.

I’ve recently joined Total Fitness again and it’s by far the best in the area. The staff are all great, it’s clean and other gym goers are friendly. Everyone cleans their workout machines down after use and there’s always cleaning staff going round, they’re doing a great job.

Disappointed by long term IT problems really difficult to book classes and there are barely any running for off-peak members. reception staff aren't much help and they agree the it systems are rubbish. There's always a difference between the system and what the staff in the gym can do I like bringing the children here for swimming but it's not worth it for £50 a month total Fitness took my membership payments over the summer I tried to request a Pause on the membership as I've been away I couldn't pause it online I'm planning on cancelling as you do not get your money's worth with no classes and I didn't go to work out properly with worrying about the virus and wearing a mask so I'll focus on home gym and YouTube workouts I've been a member for two-and-a-half years however since reopening after lockdown you just cannot get a place . sure there are restrictions but even so they have hardly any classes for offbeat members such as one yoga a week there's no fitness classes only a bit of yoga and Zumba and water glass I'd love to do more yoga and Pilates I joined because of a bad back but the situation has not improved I pay £40 a month for off peak the swimming pool is good although the water in the main one is quite cool and the hot hub is brilliant

Very helpfull staff on phone at call centre and on reception. I had a bit of typo enrolment error that was my own fault after joining online and was dreading trying to get it sorted but this was very quickly understood and rectified after a pleasent and helpfull phone call and chat with call centre and at reception. Thank you. Free 3 hrs parking via ground floor in multi storey car park...secured and well lit...just need to enter car reg number in foyer reception for members only and has a lift to various floors from ground floor car park. Nice and bright once inside and spacious with mutiple pool area and open plan gym area. Large popular hydro pool with various on demand features to relax those muscles...or just relax in... Sauna and steam room smaller than expected but very hot and clean and well lit again with good clothing changing area on arrival and with mutiple private or family showers etc. 1st impressions...a bit of a hidden gem TBH...not just the building but the app is good also and there website and and the staff I dealt with which just makes it a good experience all round for me. The building is not too big but they have deffinetly manged to tastfully fit alot in there. (Edit 14th Sept 21. Removed a star from 5 to 4 as parts of the Spa floor jets at one end now not working for the past few wks+ dispite reception being told politely and the 1 not so hot poolside shower just dribbles water out if at all for past few wks+ ... and have noticed very obvious thick layers of dust on the air vents in the shower rooms)

I attended a trial day here, it is nice but their gym turned out to be far too pricey for my liking.
