Spent time choosing and pricing all the tiles we needed and stupidly just said 'yes' when asked if we needed grout / adhesive . They sneaked several bags into the final bill @£40 each. Only found out later when we needed another bag that it was readily available off the shelf at B&Q (and every other DIY outlet) for exactly half that. Not impressed.

Shocking customer service. Assistant couldn't be bothered to look up from his highlighting when asking me what I wanted. Tiles needed to be ordered and would take a couple of days. They were completely indifferent to what i was there for. Rude! Carried on with his highlighting and I walked away...

Very helpful staff who will work to get you the best price. Good range of tiles.

I drove to the store from some miles away to get some samples for my forthcoming bathroom refit. When I arrived I needed urgently to use a toilet. I was told they have no customer toilets and are not prepared to allow anyone to use their own facilities. I pointed out my dilemma and the fact that I would not be able to complete what I wanted to do unless I could have access to a toilet first. Man behind the counter was totally unmoved. This is the only retailer I have ever encountered to refuse such a request. I had no alternative but to return home, having wasted the journey. Shame on Topps Tiles if this is indeed their policy. Clearly they would rather lose a customer than exercise some basic good sense and humanity.

Not an expert on tile shops but things can certainly be better than this! Especially for their prices! I bought tiles which I was told were on their way and would be available in 2 weeks. Booked a builder in 4 weeks only to find out that the tiles were never available in the depot and had to cancel my order. Stupidly enough I made another order and got tiles that were of different sizes in the same batch. This meant it was impossible to align perfectly .... and I couldn't return them as the box was already open! The tiles were advertised as wall and floor tiles but we're clearly too heavy for walls and the builder ended up charging me extra for all the work and material he needed to buy ...

Excellent customer service, very attentive and knowledgeable. Large range. The guy that served us was on 'loan' from their other branch so I assume both shops are are equally good.

Go here if you want to listen to loud rock music blaring out of the speakers whilst you browse. Personally, I'd rather not.

Clean and well presented store. Friendly and helpful staff; particularly Chloe.

Excellent selection. Good service. You can buy samples for about £1 each.
