Toolstation Altrincham manchester

The service has recently gone downhill. There seems to be a new team in the Altrincham branch who are either not helpful or need more training. The Scouse guy there is seriously lacking people skills in general and has put off numerous tradesmen with his comments and general demeanour and coming across a jobs worth. It's the comments like, "you need to wait for your text before you come to collect". Although it's 8am, you opened at 7am and I ordered it last night and there is no one in the store, so why not just go and get it now and be helpful?! The older guy doesn't help either if you have a question about an item, he just tells you that "you need to look in the catalogue and order it here". He's also ridiculously slow frustrating regular tradesmen. He clearly needs more support to learn as he works but he clearly isn't getting it. Generally picking up an order is now so slow the only reason I go is to get something is if screwfix doesn't have what I want. The previous team were great and had a superb relationship with customers. Regularly I'd pull up outside and if they were free and saw me they would have the order ready on the counter. The service used to be great, but not any more. You need to up your game Toolstation.

They had absolutely no idea what they were doing there. I had a quick basket to pick up, however the cashier insisted that I was in the wrong shop and that I needed to go to screwfix. No, I wasn't wrong, just clearly the cashier's aren't taught how the online store works. Definitely will never be going here again.

Never seem to have what you need, I’m either sent to the Trafford Park or the Wythenshaw branch or even worse told to try Screwfix across the road.
