A park. Some street parking just outside. Outside gym few bits of kit. Swings slides roundabout. Seems quite popular especially around 4.00pm on way home from school. Took granddaughter there for 30 mins waiting for her sister having piano lesson. Don't think there are any loos near or on the park site.

We started the Tonteg circular walk from here by crossing the road and walking up through Heol y Cawl and continued on to pass horses near some lakes and then to the top to admire views over toward Eglwysilan and the Garth and the gap in Quakers Yard and Carntown mountain in the distance. We continued down the hill to a World War II gun firing range, then onto the University in Treforest. We crossed the road and walked back to Tonteg on a flatter route just below Llantwit Road and saw steel figures of John Hughes from the Grog shop, Evans and Tom Jones and returned back to Tonteg Community Centre.

Nice little park. Quieter than the bigger park close by which is nice as some kids don't like the noise of a busy park. The park is always well maintained
