WORST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE! I can’t look myself in the mirror. I get angry every time I have to do my hair. I can’t believe this person’s services were valued at £80. I wouldn’t pay £5 for it if I could go back. I wouldn’t let her cut my hair for free if she offered. I have been a regular here for about two years. Today I had a haircut which at first glance wasn’t perfect, but it seemed acceptable - it was much shorter than what I requested despite me showing a picture example, saying shoulder length etc. The stylist was very friendly and professional but I went home to discover the right side of my hair is longer than the left. I have been given EXTREMELY short layers in my already much shorter than I asked for hair which makes the haircut look dated and my already round face even rounder as these uncalled for layers hit the broadest part of my cheeks. Not to mention the shorter side has also been thinned out way more than the other side making it overall uneven and giving my head a weird shape, rounder on one side and flatter on the other. This is going to take a long time to grow out and I don’t appreciate coming out this unhappy after having paid £80 for this haircut. What happened? Where are the good stylists? This is a place that should provide the same level of service no matter which stylist does your hair. I have been having my hair cut regularly by Denise. Union had cut my hair once and he did a fabulous job... I’m really upset about this haircut and the amount of money I paid only to come out feeling like I want to cry. Unfortunately, I don’t trust this stylist enough to go back to be evened out by them and I have lost all hope in this salon. If Union or Denise are gone for good, I don’t know if I would go back.

Was given an uneven haircut. Although they fixed it for free when I was able to return next weekend, at a cost of nearly £60 I would have appreciated an apology and perhaps a reduction in the price. I’ve never had an uneven cut before, it seems like it should be hairdressing 101. Other services were good, however.

Style Director Denise is dreadful at cutting hair. No consultation when I arrived, couldn’t understand English, cut completely the wrong way to what I asked as she only showed up after my hair was washed. Also the staff seem to hate each other. Think you’d struggle to find a worse place.

5/ 5

I have just had the nicest afternoon at Toni and Guy Victoria. Apart from being absolutely delighted with my hair, and the stylists, the place was so warm and welcoming it had the ambience of a local salon with the glamour expected of London. I could see regulars coming back and being greeted as old friends and felt so comfortable that I have already recommended to three others. Maria and Fredrico listened, advised and perfectly understood what I wanted. Back at work I have never been so complimented, the best being that my hair has never looked so good- and I totally agree. Thank you x
