Been here a couple times and today was by far the best visit ! The chef behind the counter with a beard and tattoos was really nice to everyone in front of us an us! Very chatty! Great service chefs seemed to be enjoying themselves! Food was great , there was no gravy left but we were quickly bought more ! Desserts were really good too! Very happy!

Had a breakfast today. Help yourself as much as you can eat. No. They should give you freshly cooked breakfast. Cooked early in the morning then left under heated lights for hours drying and tasteless. Quality of food, cheap and low end food. They need to cook fresh on demand Until they do I will never eat at Toby again

It was my first time going to a carvery and boy did I love it. The selection of meats was excellent and the staff very friendly on top of that the amount you can really take on one of the king-size plates is truly enough to feed a small family but I did eat it all to myself the reviews of the carrots gravy onions and roast potatoes are all the same they are well cooked and up to standards you do you expect and for the sheer amount of food this is absolutely perfect. I can only recommend that going to the Carvery on a Sunday is a lovely occasional especially if you'd like to overheat a little bit as I did.

Staff were very polite and friendly. But not used to their best for the pub ie: 6 tables piled with plates and glasses. No one cleared them in 20 minutes I was there. Also got in line for carvery and waited 30 minutes 10 minutes acceptable! Not 30. Lady carving the meat was on her own. Rushed off her feet. Waited a while for gravy too. On a positive note, food was very good

1 star is too good. Cannot vouch for dinner but the breakfast was awful. My dog wouldn't have been subjected to it. Eggs were like play school ones from a fake kitchen, bacon was steam cooked, nothing crispy about it. Sausages look like they were boiled, to the point I struggled to cut the skin and could spread it on my toast! Potatoes were raw. Mushrooms were lovely but not worth the £7 I have just parted with. I know it is suppose to be budget but this is just too far, spoons manage to at least crisp up their bacon and cook their sausages for less money.

Della is very good as she served us. Able to help us about the menu as we were new to your place. Chef was good, salmon was well cooked. Since we were sitting near bar, it was bit noisy especially the one with funny laughter, very disturbing. We informed one of crew, it was stopped. Thank you. Merry Christmas.

Just had a Sunday lunch where sometimes Toby can be unbearably busy. Loretta was our server, and she has been before. She makes the experience beyond amazing! I've never seen someone with such a spring in their step working on a Sunday. One of the best staff I've encountered working in here and so engaging with children. Food amazing and so was service from Loretta 😄😄

Arrived just as the food was being set out. No queue so I filled my plate. Unfortunately there wasn't any scrambled eggs but what I had was lovely. More if you wanted and plenty of tea and coffee. You can't go wrong for £7.50. Especially if you enjoy a large breakfast. 👍

Visited Sunday, Our waitress, Jamie, was very uninterested in serving us and very clearly did not want to be in work. We had to keep calling someone else over to our table when we needed anything as she was leaning on the end of the bar looking like she wanted a nap. Such a shame as previous visits have always been 5 star! Food was delicious though
