I required a replacement battery for a limited edition watch supplied by Bradford Exchange. Having made enquiries with the Customer Services at Bradford Exchange, I was informed that they do not provide any form of Repair/maintenance and was advised to take my watch to ANY reputable watch repairer. Having visited four separate premises in York, I was informed by one of them they were unable to assist, one was unable to take the back off the watch, another would have to send it away to their specialist and finally the fourth said that he would probably be able to fit the battery which would then have a 2 year guarantee, for a total cost of £29.95. Having then researched Timpson’s online, I visited their premises on Tadcaster Road, York I was given two options:- One was a battery replacement at the standard cost £10.95 Or Battery replacement with a lifetime guarantee at a cost of £15.95. I went for the second option which was carried out in a few minutes. Superb service!

Dan was extremely helpful and polite. I went with a broken key and he advised that due to that way it had broke it may not be possible to make a replacement. He still attempted to make one upon request and fortunately the key worked. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to get your keys cut. Professional, efficient and reasonably priced.

Travelled here to get keys cut. Store closed at 4.15pm - waited 20 mins and called the number on the door, with no response. No sign indicating the store was closed or if someone was coming back. Waste of time.

Great service. Walking boots repaired.
