I was really nervous about trying floatation being so far along in my pregnancy. The staff were so attentive and informative with everything I automatically felt at ease. I felt so relaxed during and after. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

The floating experience is something I have been promising myself I would go and try for quite a while. I was excited but also nervous because I’ve never done anything like this before. Well I need not have worried at all. From the minute you arrive you are looked after. Mark takes time to explain everything and answered all my questions. You have privacy for the session with your own shower area within the room. Once you are ready to get into the pod you can choose to have the light on until you are ready which is very comforting. It’s a different sensation floating for the first time and I will admit I sat up once or twice trying to get my bearings and allowing myself to adjust before I finally realised there was nothing to worry about at all and allowed myself to relax. After that time flew past and it very quickly it was time to get out, get changed and go to the comfy chilled area. I had booked an afternoon tea and it was great with a good selection of sandwiches, cakes and a nice cuppa. I left smiling and was more relaxed. The day after though I really felt a definite sense of calm. I contacted Mark that afternoon and booked two more sessions. Apparently it gets even better the second time because you settle quicker, so I can’t wait to be back. If you are thinking should I, I would say do it! You have to try it to understand.
