We arrived to the central Manchester branch. We were greeted by Tanya. I have to say what a fantastic bubbly girl she was smiling and ultra helpful. A breath of fresh air. She was efficient and fast with the service. Such a delight to deal with. We were tired and had been travelling from Italy. This was a perfect start to our trip home to the uk. She is an asset to the business What A great member of staff to have working for thrifty. The car was clean and adequate. I think all in all, hats off, it had to be the best service yet I hope when we take the car back it’s equally as good. I doubt it as she was one in a million Well done thrifty. Well done to Tanya.

Lady had no customer service this morning in Trafford Park. She didn't even smile or say good morning. She was rude to me and my partner, but even ruder to me. My partner and I both noticed she was being nicer to him when I sat down in my phone. Sharp explanation, no smile, not helping in answering when asked same question twice to confirm. Also waited quite a bit. Someone else was also waiting a long time. Guy at desk is usually much more polite and helpful with good customer service skills. No probs with car but fella says we usually get a nicer one with the guy at desk. Usually good service and would normally review a 3 or 4 star. This morning started great but ww both felt a vibe of negativity from our visit hence 1 star.

I have used them many times, they are very helpful and accommodating. Best hiring company in Manchester. Reasonable prices.

Rented a 7 seater vehicle, arrived at stated time. Car was kind of thrown at me, not much instruction given. Car was excellent and met our needs and no nasty surprises when I returned it.

Be careful renting here, they'll push you to upgrade and then find 'damage' when you return. If you hire take out every insurance possible because I guarantee you'll need it.

Very poor service! Do not use this company! Staff are very rude and do not communicate! The arrogant man I dealt with was very judgemental and came across with a dislike towards women drivers! We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with them after our car was hit and we had a courtesy car from them. First of all they turned up with an automatic car when the request and paperwork to hand clearly stated manual gearbox. They had to come back the next day with a manual car, more time off work to wait for that! Our car was repaired very quickly but two days later after nil communication the hire car is still here. Numerous calls to the head office to chase up gave us false information and it got put off twice. Cannot believe how a company like this survives in this day and age. Excuses were only two men working over the weekend and they were out of area! This was after another call at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon when we were told it would be collected that morning! Totally unacceptable on every level as they weren’t going to let us know! I will be informing our insurance too as they need to know just how poor their service is as it will reflect badly on them!
