It was my first visit to this Surgery today. I see there have been several poor reviews but I can't complain at all at the service I received. Pleasant, quiet and peaceful surroundings and all the staff I met and interacted with were great and very courteous.

Rang to make an appointment for my child. I made the mistake of telling them is wasn't a matter of life or death. Was told there was nothing for 5 or 6 week minimum. I was then offered a phone appointment. Sorry, but is there really any difference in time between talking on the phone or actually seeing someone? Not impressed. This is not the first time I've had problems either. A very inefficient practice and best avoided if possible.

Duty doctor on phone gave me appointment at endless st, a surgery I don't know and as I'm suffering anxiety it was difficult. I get there and am told the doctor is actually at St Anne's st,my own surgery.I had to rush across the city to get blood pressure check, guess what it was like. The doctor himself,Dr Howell is lovely and very helpful.

So frustrating. Can never get an appointment and I can't get through on the phone. And this is for a child's appointment!!! The actual docs etc are good it's just the annoyance of having to wait hours to get through or weeks for an appointment. I do wish they'd get a new phone system that enables queues.

Receptionist is a horrible horrible woman, always insists on knowing exactly what is wrong with you. On several occasions she’s “told me off” for something which she has no medical knowledge of, she refused to give my boyfriend an appt and he ended up having a serious chest infection. Doctors are always good, shame you have to go trough her.

This morning I had an appointment with Dr. Wills. This lady doctor had an excellent disposition - engaging, light of manner but methodically disciplined in her diagnosis. My experience at the St. Ann's Street surgery with this practitioner was the polar opposite to recent visits between September and October to the Rollerstone Street surgery, where I have found staff to be very officious, somewhat robotic and without any warm bedside manner, particularly when having the flu jab. What a relief ... a doctor who made the examination one without contest or conflict. Being clever in sciences and having a diploma on the wall is a world apart from being humble in caring with devotion for a patient.

I am very pleased with the majority of the services provide by this surgery and I have have no complains about the staff, but I do have a problem with the time it takes to answer the telephone. I telephoned the results line three time this week and eventually put the phone down after waiting over 37 minutes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Today I waited 22 minutes and I was first in the queue. I also telephoned reception to ask what the problem was but no-one answered that phone either. Is there a technical or staffing problem? This service is not good enough
