It's open 24 hours, every day of the year. I suspect that most of their profits come from the large selection of alcoholic beverages but they sell much else besides, including a wide range of Middle Eastern products and the usual household essentials. Be warned, if you're planning on visiting them while drunk and disorderly you will receive very short shrift and will be told to leave.

This is my preferred local convenience store. The guys are normally very nice and friendly. However a few weeks ago, I popped in with a friend on the way back from a night out to grab a few brewskis, and the young guy in there refused to serve me on the basis I was too inebriated (not his choice of words). I've been in there so many times in similar circumstances, that it really irked me that they had chosen to pull such a stunt at such a massively inconvenient time almost (everywhere else was closed). I guess the unfamiliar young clerk just didn't like my face, and after I slinked off, you'll be pleased to know that my friend went back and got the beers anyway for us (by telling the guy I'd gone to bed). Anyway it's fine, just as long as you haven't had I over the VIII and want to get a couple of drinks to take home.
