They need to get their act together as this is the second time I've not got my prescription on time. I phoned with my repeat prescription on Tuesday morning 19/03/19 and subsequently my husband went to pick up the medication from the chemist on Friday morning only to be told the prescription hadn't been passed on from the surgery. The receptionist at Thornfield said there had been a problem and she would make sure the medication would be available at the chemist for me to pickup Saturday morning as I have COPD and had no tablets left. On Saturday morning, my husband again travelled to the chemist to be told it had NOT been passed to them and, as the surgery was closed, I've had to go all weekend without medication. So on Monday we have to start the process again almost a week after the initial request.

there are some rather rude reviews about this surgery and I just wanted to put forward how wonderful i found all of the staff to be. The reception staff were warm, professional and helped me a great deal when trying to arrange emergency care for my husband. The doctor who saw to him also was utterly outstanding. Thank you so much Thornfield Medical Group!

My son rang for a appointment for a chest infection which had been going for 3 weeks not he was refused a appointment because as the receptionist said " a cough is for the walk-in centre. So my son had to sit for 2 hours in the walk in centre. The nurse who saw him wasn't happy in the slightest had he was refused appointment as my son had been ill for 3 weeks, had a bad chest infection and a high temperature. It's reasons like this that this practice had a terrible reputation
