Friendly efficient service. Excellent mattress and bed bases. We have a mattress that’s 20years old, made by the York Bed Company which is deemed the best by all our family and visitors.

Well it's great buying from an independent local bedmaker, and I got a bespoke size for a reasonable price. But the Carlton mattress I received is less firm than the model in the showroom. I thought perhaps less padding was used, you can see from the photo that the fabric is limp and baggy. We have rotated it regularly, but it felt saggy from day one. You can also see the tufts are not evenly spaced from right to left. The shop said it felt saggy because of our bed frame slats, even though I said that we've mostly used the mattress directly on the floor, and it felt saggy there too.
