I really love this gym! The staff are always pleasant and helpful which is one of the reasons why I decided to join here. The reception staff are always smiling and happy to help with anything! There are a great range of classes and a good sized pool which is great for me too. I particularly love the social atmosphere which you don't always find in other gyms around Manchester. Keep up the great stuff Y Club!!

Good for classes, decent equipment, fairly sized pool and squash courts. Staff are abrupt and slightly clueless. Don't believe the opening and closing times on the website, everytime I have gone down their an hour or two before they seem to be closing at least an hour early and forcing you off the treadmill. I wouldn't go to this gym unless my company were paying for it for me.

I absolutely love this gym it's the first one I've ever trialled and then joined. It's got great facilities, a range of awesome classes, I really enjoy the steam room and sauna after the gym, and most of all, all the members and staff are SO friendly which is what set it apart for me.

Good luck cancelling your membership. They give you a number for some company that keeps you on hold

Good luck cancelling your membership. They give you a number for some company that keeps you on hold for half an hour. Then they tell you that you need to give one months notice even though you've been with them for two years. Incredible.

Absolutely love the Y club. I've been going there since 1997..its the place that keeps me sane. I LOVE the pool and the steam room and the people. It's the only gym I will go anywhere near because there's a really wide range of ordinary people of all ages . I feel really comfortable there.

Very well priced gym with facilities you would not expect for a city centre club. I love gym classes & there are plenty here both in the studio & in a large sports hall ,- morning, lunchtime ,& evenings. Also has a swimming pool, an indoor running track, two rugby 5 courts, weights area. Membership comes with access to several clubs including basketball, badminton & volley ball. Staff are friendly as are gym members.

Went for an induction with Nathaniel, never been to a gym before and was very nervous. He put me at ease quickly and was very encouraging and supportive He showed me some equipment and how to be safe to get me started and made me feel very confident about going again. Really recommend that 30 minutes with him before you start.
