Very nice shop with a lovely man serving 10th of February in the morning, we had a chat to him when we were making a purchase of some blank cards great price too, we were only able to look at part of the shop though, there's stairs to the lower floor which isnt any good for us as both disabled, but they've got quite a bit on the shop level, there's another Works where it's all on one level more in the main shopping area,

Love this shop, Was there today. I live in Bootle and don’t particularly like the Bootle shop. But the bold street shop has many interesting books and is nice , clean, and a well looked after, spacious shop but that’s not even the half of it the staff are amazing. There customer service skills are by far the best. Lovely ladies and very funny, Nice to walk out of a shop laughing. Thank you.

The works comes up with great offers time to time. I enjoy purchasing quality goods in cheaper prices from the shop during various sales. The best part about the works is their staff. The most helpful staff I have ever seen, 5 stars. Also, recently I tried their delivery service and it’s on point. They delivered my order in time and with pretty packing.

Recently we celebrated my son's birthday. We decided to shop all our stuff from The Works. This was the best decission made as I was able to purchase everything under one roof, everything from gifts for give away to books, crafts, decoration and everything. Great place for shopping!!

I buy more things from here than I really realise. There is a good selection of books, but most are not to my taste, for me the appeal is down the stairs where the art and craft supplies live. There is a reasonable selection but what I love is that a portion of the stock seems to be ever changing, and usually on offer. For this reason alone, it's a shop I always seem to pop into just to see if anything I need or would like has appeared that I should buy before it disappears again.
