Ordered bespoke doors from these guys and they arrived before Christmas as planned. Wonderful service and always on hand to answer questions my builder had. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for doors. Builder fitting them now and they look incredible, completely transformed the house. Great Xmas present for my whole family. Really nice family run business. Came across them by accident as passed the showroom a few times in the car and been really pleased with the internal doors they've supplied (18 of them!) and the helpful service they've offered since. Couple of small issues resolved quickly. Would absolutely use again

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I wanted to use a local company but my experience has been frustrating and very disappointing. I made a simple order for 2 external wooden doors. However, what I received was not what I ordered and the service was hap-hazard. 1. The main door was made too short by 5cm. 2. The second door design was changed without consulting me. 3. The joiner they recommended was a disappointment and all but useless so I had to find one of my own to fit the doors. 4. The long delay in delivery (3.5 months to make 2 doors!). 5. The lack of proactive communication from your company – I had to constantly call in by phone or in person to chase progress and amend their mistakes. 6. The extra expense I had to incur (to compensate for the incorrect end product and extra fitting and work required). 7. The external surface of each door is starting to crack so the material appears to be sub-standard. I gave the company chance to reply to my points above but they declined to respond or apologise. Why deal with such a company?

We required a dozen internal doors following some renovation at our house and we stumbled upon The Wooden Door via Google. Thanks to all who left such positive reviews of this excellent company. We are now able to add our review. The visit to their showroom was useful. The staff are extremely friendly and go the “extra mile” to help you to choose the right product for you. We were delighted to receive the doors in 2 weeks and they were very accommodating with our delivery needs. The final endorsement comes from our joiner who has a great deal of experience with doors and has commented upon the wonderful quality. He intends to recommend them to his customers. Finally, all of this at a very reasonable price. Thanks you for great quality and service.

Really disappointed with this service. They made the door frame and the doors. The frame fit perfectly, sadly the doors were too small. Months of trying to get this resolved with lots of promises but no resolution. Eventually I had to pay someone else to fix.

Outstanding service! We had a really tight timescale and they pulled out all of the stops, offering options for either delivery or collection. The online chat facility made pinning the exact door down really quick and easy, then they managed to sort out a next day delivery for us when the standard delivery availability would have been 3 to 4 days, to ensure that we would have the door in time of our joiner arriving. They then called first thing in the morning to give a good indication of the delivery time, which was followed up by the delivery driver. Just the sort of quality of service we like, but is so rarely available these days.

If I could give zero stars I would. Did an apphauling job of fitting, left loose screws and nails, corners loosely nailed together and attempted to hide multiple blemishes with paste. When challenged politely by the young woman in her own home, the store owner became very aggressive and threatened her. They were scared for their safety and paid full price for a shoddy job out of fear and intimidation. NEVER use this company. ***Edit: The response from the owner below is complete lies. The reason they can't find my name ir order is that the person(s) making this review felt so threatened by the owner and their companions that they are scared of retribution from them. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I asked the wooden door company to make me a pair of doors that I had seen on their insta page but to my specific size, they had no issues with this. They gave me a lead time which was better than any other companies and the price of the doors was so good compared to other quotes I had been given from other companies! They kept me up to date the whole time, sent me a pic of the doors once they were done and completed it all a few weeks earlier than they had advised which was great! The delivery service was really good too and the actual doors look amazing! Exactly what I wanted!
