Love this shop. They always have a good selection of the latest white company stock and the staff are helpful and friendly. They have women’s and children’s clothes on the ground floor and the home selection downstairs. There’s a handy changing room to try everything on with a flattering full length mirror.

I went into the Manchester shop and a lovely lady called Paula helped put together a lovely hamper for my daughter in law she asked how much I wanted to spend on it and nothing was too much trouble for her I would certainly recommend a visit

This review is based on ordering items online. I ordered 3 sets of pyjamas for my 3 godchildren, a sleepsuit for my little nephew and a candle for my friend. I ordered items online on the 12th November thinking I have ordered in good time. I receive an email stating expected arrival on the 16th November. Nothing arrived. Checked courier website Hermes which states still waiting for the items. Keep checking for updates and nothing. I email the white company on the 19th November advising I had not received any items and Hermes website states still waiting to receive them. I receive an email at 4.00am on the 21st November stating the items have gone missing and will be investigated. In the mean time they completed another order but unfortunately the sleepsuit and one set of pyjamas has sold out so they will send the items that they currently have in stock. Poor customer service. I should have been contacted to confirm what I would like to do rather than assuming I want the remainder of the items in stock. I ordered in good time and through no fault of my own the items are discarded after alot of thought had gone into choosing them. If I hadn't had the choice that I had I may have shopped elsewhere. When you pay good money for items you would expect to receive a good service. In the email it said it did not live up to our usual high service. However I have previously had an issue ordering an item online which I ordered to be collected from a local pick up point to find that it had been sent back due to the pickup point being full of items. It's such a shame as I love The White Company and purchase many gifts from them. I feel the online service does not live up to the basic expectations.

Staff are always so lovely and helpful. I’ve bought many things from them in the past but in my last trip I was in a rush and buying a gift for a friend and they do a beautiful gift wrapping service. Thankyou so much as always
