3 night stay. Great room plenty of space and big bed. Extremely clean room service everyday. Restaurant meal was very nice waiter was rushed off his feet but just about keeping up with things. Breakfast choice was great and food quality good. First day tables were not getting cleared looked under staffed. Improved the next two mornings. Word of warning...you cannot walk any of the beautiful grounds unless you are playing golf. You also can't use any of the spa facilities unless you are booked in for a treatment. The offer of use of the gym facilities across the road is a good alternative but it is not a spa setting and you need to book one of the few time slots. Also you wont get a towel so take one from your room. No one thought to tell us! Overall it was a standard hotel setting but without the use of the facilities they have! Unfortunately we couldn't find much to do in the area but St Neots and Riverside park were beautiful with the wildflower gardens. The riverside walks were pretty too.

I travel a lot for business and recently attended a course here. The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in with the smallest TV ever, on the plus side it was quite modern and up to date. Housekeeping is not adequate, your room is 'refreshed' every two days. The bed is not changed but simply made-up with the same wrinkly sheets you've been sleeping in all week. Food was without doubt the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. It's more of a canteen than a restaurant. Every day we were subject to dry chicken or pork left under heat lamps ensuring it was just warm and overcooked. Breakfast involved dry scrambled eggs which staff would stir occasionally, the bacon was so dry one morning I couldn't even cut it. Some days the main meal was obviously left-over from the day before and desserts looked alright but were dry and best avoided. I found myself sticking to yogurt and fruit. The food service would also close at 7:30pm, again I have never experienced this in a hotel. Some of us like to eat a little later than this. On the plus side it's a handy location with Burger King and Subway close by.

Excellent food and lovely views. Was missing some bits from room like slippers and dressing gown. Jacuzzi was also not on or even filled up. So I'm going to guess these are covid restrictions. But overall we had a great time.

Not what we expected for a 4* hotel. Housekeeping was poor, cobwebs in rooms, stains on cups, blinds were tinged yellow at the windows. Very run down, walls and skirting boards scuffed overall the hotel required a lot of maintenance. Communal areas very run down. Breakfast was poor and tasted dry and like it had been heated up. We stayed for two nights and were unable to access the advertised facilities. We were unable to book the spa and it was to much trouble for the reception team to assist us with this. We were then advised the swimming pool did not require a booking system however unable to access due to private swimming lessons, the hotel did not accommodate hotel guests. Breakfast was advertised from 7am however on arrival we were told this was not the case and had the trouble of organising breakfast with the hotel for our early schedule. The hotel has responded offering £48 as compensation for all of the inconveniences. This was not the service or standard we would expect from a 4* hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.
