This restaurant has many thing going for it that make it perfect for me. Small, friendly service, an interesting fixed menu the bring your on wine. The food was excellent, with familiar foods served in new ways - tempura broccoli. Over the 7 small courses we were treated to some lovely food (it changes every month). The service was very good and really complemented the meal, with knowledgable staff able to explain each course and answering questions with enthusiasm. Highly recommended.

If you haven’t been already you need to visit The Swine That Dines on a pie Sunday! ... Such lovely staff and a great choice on their menu (Which does change frequently). I went for the ham leek and cheddar pie, we shared a side of greens and mash between two! For pudding we had the cherry jam roly poly with boozy cherries which was delicious! ...This was my first time visiting the restaurant but I will definitely be back!

We booked a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We didn't know what to expect, except that we had to take our own drinks, for which there was a £5 corkage fee. As we were shown to our table we were told that it was a vegetarian restaurant offering a 7 course tasting menu with optional extras. As each course was brought to the table, we were provided with an explanation of the dish. We chose to have the optional mushroom dish, which was really tasty. To finish, we had English apple cake with cider sorbet and nut brittle. Altogether, a really great experience and something completely different. Well recommended.

Fine dining at a reasonable price. Menu changes monthly and it’s a very good cosy location. Booking essential and requires a deposit as the restaurant is so small.

Fantastic food with a very informal and relaxed atmosphere. Like going round to a friend's house but one that can really cook. Felt at home from the minute we walked in and will definitely go again. Also really good value for money. I can't fault it.

Another fantastic meal at The Swine That Dines. Having flexed throughout various lockdowns they are still producing amazing food - including a smoked haddock dish that was delicious, and a repeat order of their signature custard tart. Very good wine list too.
