5/ 5

My sisters, mum and I have just return from a mini break and can’t recommend this wonderful hotel enough. Our rooms had stunning views and were absolutely spotless. The house keeping team are a real credit to the company. Nothing was too much trouble. One member in particular went above and beyond when mum had a fall in her room ( Maria, thank you so much, you are a beautiful soul). The bar staff made our stay brilliant with great service, making us feel at home and offering great suggestions on food and drinks. The reception staff were polite, friendly and so professional. We also had a spa treatment package in the adjoining hotels. The treatments helped everyone de-stress and relax. This was followed up by an amazing afternoon tea with champagne. Thank you everyone for the incredible stay. We hope to return. Highly recommended

REALLY LOVED STAYING IN. We booked the hotel for a night and I must say, This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The pools both indoor and outdoor are really fun to swim also the indoor one is warm with good provided facilities. The bar and sauna. Gym is also good. Dogs are allowed but charge 20 quid per night which is costly that's why I rate 4. The hotel is a pleasurable place with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Will definitely book the hotel again when going to Bournemouth for holiday. 😁😁😁

2/ 5

When I read the mixed reviews before going, I contacted the hotel and spoke with Emma, the reservations manager, who assured me she would give this her personal attention. In fact, I spoke with her several times, including twice the week before I was to arrive, to ensure that our stay, in 2 rooms, for only 2 nights following a 5.5 hour drive, was as pleasant as could be. I was sorely let down! The main family room was in dire need of refurbishment, wallpaper very worn in patches, it was below average and extremely disappointing. I rang Emma, who confessed that she had not seen the rooms (after assuring me she would ensure things were good for us). The Manager got involved but confessed there was not much he could do, after such a tiring journey and disappointing result, my daughter, husband and 2 little children ended up changing rooms 3 times in just 2 days. The staff at breakfast were not very friendly and plates on tables were allowed to pile up ( I even cleared our own table). The cleaning the rooms however, was good. Which is important to me. The location is acceptable

A brick wall blocked our only window in bedroom. Only inches from glass. Have to walk upstairs from restaurant to collect own drinks from bar to have with meal. Set menu very poor. Overcharged on restaurant bill. Some rooms need refurbishment
