I’m in love with this little hotel! My room was so cozy & clean & my bathroom was huge!! Initially I encountered an issue with the toilet not flushing & maintenance attended to it efficiently & cheerfully. The Royal Hotel is super convenient to the train and steps away from shops. Breakfast was plentiful and I ordered room service one evening and it was really good. Highly Recommend The Royal Hotel.. ❤️

A great place to stay, there are probably more swish places but not built by Brunel. A nice friendly welcome and do anything for you attitude. Directly opposite the station and near to a car park also. Surprisingly quite and close to all the attractions a tourist might want to visit. Breakfast was good cooked or not, plenty of choices.

Just over the road from the train station and within easy walking distance of everything in town. Small room and very small bed for a double, book a twin room if there are two of you. breakfast was very good but the evening menu didn't appeal so we went elsewhere

Stayed as seeing a concert at Forum which is just a few minutes walk away. This hotel is made by the staff who were marvellous. After an extremely fraught journey (BATH TRAFFIC IS HORRENDOUS!!!!) the staff there were extremely professional. The room was a little dated, but everything you need is there. All clean. Very comfortable beds. Superb hot breakfast in the morning. Well done Royal Hotel.

Stayed Monday to Sunday very friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival as were all the staff. Our room was spotlessly clean. We stayed there because it is ideal for the train and bus stations, if you want to explore the surrounding area as we did.The bar food and restaurant food was excellent (best lamb we ever had). Breakfast choices were also very good.

Only stayed one night as a stopover for concert in Forum. Beautiful hotel, conviently situated for train station just across the road, and Forum a five min walk. Clean comfy room. Lovely bar meal and breakfast. Friendly, happy staff. Will definitely stay again.
