Well overpriced, and in the afternoon the cakes are stale, and never reduced in price. Not a good idea to put the bread in the window, facing the sun(Shire only) staff not always the most pleasant.

***Update December 2021. Well, that didn’t last long. I’ll keep my original review below to show it started off really well. Now I’m afraid they seem to of let a few things slip. Maybe it’s not being run as well as I first thought, firstly they never have enough stock and regularly run out of bread and cakes and well done if you’ve even managed to get a sandwich! Sold out by 12 with no ingredients left. Their answer to this is too increase the prices and get rid of the meal deal. How does this make sense? You’re literally turning away business due to no stock and then you lose further business by hiking the prices. If I could say one thing to the owners it would be to spend 10 mins in Parsons bakery in a Avonmouth. Absolutely fantastic bakery that have got it spot on. Hot, tasty well priced food and everything in stock. The queue is always out the door! I’ll give Redland another shot in the new year however with Ruby Jeans on the Parade now opening up i don’t think they’ll be able to match it sadly. Original review: Redland Bakery is now back open and it's so much better! I've used the Bakery a few times now and I must say its great, really clean, friendly staff and the prices are much better. I understand it has new owners and they've improved the product also. The food is actually hot rather than luke warm, they have a better selection of cakes and service is given with a smile. Keep it up and you'll thrive, especially with no competition in Shire!
