This place was already well reviewed when we came. Good atmosphere and brews. We had the meat pies and they were tasty also well priced. The fries were really good. I had the pork and leek sausage and they're overcooked and dry. The brews were good and satisfying. highly recommend

This pub in the town of Bath has a really local feel to it; the fungi chicken pie was good; the lady baa baa lamb "guest pie" was ok - not much meat and lamb flavour in the pie; however my husband loved his raven & ale pie. Chips were good; mash even better. All side sauces are nice. Great pints.

No nonsense menu featuring pies from Pieminister. The exclusive Raven Ale Pie is especially good.

No nonsense menu featuring pies from Pieminister. The exclusive Raven Ale Pie is especially good. The beer and cider choices are good too, I really liked the Rhubarb cider. The service is fast and the staff are great, you can't go wrong visiting this pub.

Great food (generally traditional English menu, which is understandable), interesting authentic brews. Service was slow but the place was quite full. Not as extortionately priced as most things in Bath.

Great pub!! I had the Raven Ale Pie. It was absolutely delicious. The chips were homemade, crispy and super fresh. The pie was hot, tasteful, full of flavours. The staff was super nice and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Good ale bar. Good ales but given the reputation i might have expected a bit more. Glad to see the CAMRA crowd don't own the bar now. Still one of the best ale bars in bath.

Good service upon arrival. Good drinks selection. Unfortunately a lot of pies were out of stock when we went in but the ones we settled on were tasty (1x venison and 1x chicken).

I love this pub! Beer selection is nice and many unfiltered options. The traditional food, sausage and pies looked amazing and I will try both next visit. Lovely traditional British pub In the heart of Bath really vibrant crowd and seldom quiet. For me this is one of Baths hidden gems.
