This hospital has the worst staff ever. Even in an emergency I had to wait for 3hrs . I’m 4 months pregnant and was sitting there for 3 hrs without being attended by a doc. I had a severe pain in the stomach and chest along with bad cough. But this is not enough for the staff to consider an emergency. One of the nurse very rudely responded that she was busy when I was asked to do a ECG which was finally done by male. Feeling embarrassed I went through it and then again the wait started for hours. All this happening at 2am in the morning . Fourth hour I finally got to meet a doc who said you should go your gp and not come here. I have no other words to say

I am always happy here with care towards me and I am so glad with that because I am suffering with heart problems for over 4 years now. All members of staff are excellent and working so hard and caring for patients with respect and dignity which is so important these days. Well done to all of you who cared for me today and 08.03.2019:):):)You're all stars for me and I am so glad to be in safe hands when I needed help quick:) :) God bless you all.

I have never he’d a better experience in a hospital. Having just had two procedures in different parts of the buildings I have to say that not only all the medical professionals but all of the staff I encountered were not only cheerful and competent but so helpful. After a previous encounters at the City hospital I was prepared for a completely different experience and delighted with the treatment I received.

Poor excuse of a hospital. They don't answer their phones. Waiting times are an absolute joke. You'd actually be seen sooner if you travelled to another city! (God forbid). Staff are generally extremely disrespectful (especially Lucy from A&E) - who refused to help a patient who had a deep laceration on his finger tie his laces, saying quote: "no, tie them yourself". He also had to wait 10 HOURS to get stitches on a cut exposing his bone. In addition, the hospital is direly understaffed, and are actually mainly staffed by MEDICAL STUDENTS! Staff generally can't even direct you to the right department and getting around is so much hassle. There are more nurses than doctors, and if you need emergency services on a Saturday or Sunday, best believe they'll send you away and tell you to come back on Monday! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Took my wife in at 1845 she was having bad head aches we sat there for an hour before anyone called her in they did blood pressure test that turned out to be very high she came and sat down and was told she had to see a doctor then she was called in again an hour later another blood pressure told the doctor will see her soon she sat there for another hour and a half another blood pressure test same again doctor will see you soon she waited till 0045 she said she has been waiting for six hours and said I am not waiting any longer the nurse said sorry we do not have many doctors on at that time of the morning? How can that be allowed to happen to a65 year old lady I got a phone call at 0050 to come and pick her up she was very upset and shaking what a shambles I had a stroke in 2013 and I was left waiting 13 hours and that is an experience I will never forget for the rest of my life something needs to be done about this place
