As far as medical matters are concerned, I've almost always found them to be very good, the exception being one receptionist who doesn't like me. Can't think why (cow!!). All the others are very sweet and helpful. Good point, they have a pharmacy, bad point, impossible to park outside. Hint - - go round the back and park outside the Pulteney Arms. Never been in but I have to do a review on that in a minute. (bit of cross-referencing required here). The surgery has a branch at Bathampton, probably less than a mile away. Good parking there. You could park and walk if you were healthy. But of course you're not. Never mind.

Confused between who is doctor & receptionist!? Need an appointment then one has to explain to the receptionist why they need to see a doctor!? Could be embarassing explaining your need in front of a reception room full or even in front of a few patients! Yes you get a live audience! Trying to get a prescription now that's confusing & in my experience very frustrating!!

We went today to get travel-ready antigen Covid test and the service was super. Friendly, professional and helpful. This business seems to be very popular with local community. Very handy if staying in city centre. Best pharmacy and Doctors practice I could find in Bath. Heartily recommend. Well done to all the staff.

Sadly a challenge to get a fit to work note to ensure paid whilst Ill- several calls over 2 weeks to chase up the promise of an email fit to work certificate, & then had to visit whilst Sick to be given this in reception as ‘forgotten’. Didn’t have any issues prior to the surgeries being amalgamated.

2/ 5

I'd like to be able to say something nice about the practice but my entire experience of it has been being kept on hold incessantly on the phone. And since coming to Bath six months ago I have spent about five hours on hold to this surgery. And I have only had one appointment. The practice has minimal functionality setup online so almost anything you need to do requires a phone call. It has no parking so you can't easily drive to it. To get test results you need to drive in or beg over the phone (after waiting for 20m on hold). It's just a very, very difficult practice to have any interaction with. I know that Covid has hit doctor's practices hard but this one really doesn't make it any easier.
