My experience of them was excellent - I found them honest, fair, polite, prompt and professional when dealing with a complaint against the appalling Petersfield branch of Henry Adams Lettings. Their response was well within the stated time and they appeared to carefully consider both sides and take into account all the evidence before reaching a decision that favoured us, the tenants, and awarding us £300 compensation for inconvenience, aggravation and distress, with a long and thorough explanation of how they had come to their decision. Thank you for helping us to get justice against an arrogant, greedy and dishonest agent.

Terrible Response. Initially given a 90 day response time, no one has even reviewed the paperwork that I sent. I appreciate people are busy but this avenue of complaint seems a real waste of time. legal redress is probably the easiest and fastest way to deal with matters. I would around addressing any complaints with this company unless you've got months and months to waste waiting for a reply

Landlords: do not waste your time as they are completely on the side of Estate Agents. No law knowledge and no common sense.

I was scammed by an agent who used the TPO logo on his paperwork (while pretending to be a member) I reported this to TPO who were not concerned that someone was fraudulently using their logo.

Completely pointless and very poor review of situation. They agreed with surveyor despite overwhelming evidence of significant severe woodworm was completely missed by structural survey. There were massive holes and the floor was structurally dangerous.

Spoke to Laura today and it's my first call to TPO. I am not one that leaves feedback but I felt it was necessary on this occasion. Laura has put me at such ease and has given me better understanding of my situation and how I can approach it. I am freehold owner with private space subject to management fees and this is now subject to lots of debate and has left us in a legal loophole. Laura is really kind and showed me great empathy in this challenging time. I am truly thankful for your help Laura.

massive waste of time, seems like estate agents can do what they want without facing any action. slow, and unhelpful is an understatement

Could be a lot better with offering advice consistency and really following through the regulations against the letting agents. Every landlords and tenants here have followed every single advice given by TPOS and they’re received nothing and the agents will always win on this. This is a one sided experience. The landlords and tenants experienced the TPOS are too slow to react and trying to end the complicated case with no patience and empathy from the tenants and landlords’ enquiry. The agents will always do whatever they want and are getting away with not dealing with the complaints and twisting the words they’re doing nothing wrong. All landlords and tenants are the ones who are having to suffer from the unnecessary abuse from the agents and their awful services. All they want is their documents, rent arrears paid off and stress free hassle in the fairest way.

if your Agent is also your Landlord (on a Guaranteed Rental Scheme) then the TPO have no jurisdiction. Our Agent/Landlord acted fine in their 'Agent' duties but as the 'Landlord', the TPO found they were in fact in the wrong but couldn't do anything about it. Waste of time.

I have just spent more than 2 hours filling in all the form, information downloading files and emails the site requested only to be told the page has an error or been moved. FURRIOUS. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME and no outcome to resolve a serious problem.
