This was not your usual pub food, the dishes were exquisite. Had the roast beef which melted in the mouth. The best cabbage and gravy I have ever eaten. Puddings were devine. Staff were super friendly and funny. Not a cheap meal but worth every penny. X

Absolutely PERFECT!!!! We travelled nearly one hour to get there for the most pleasant of meals. Lovely people serving all evening. Not too much in your face, just enough to be there when you needed service. The food was SECOND to NONE! The prawns starter was amazing!! The Venison was cooked perfectly and the Guinea Foul was wonderful šŸ„°. The Sticky toffee pudding šŸ® was the perfect end to the entire evening. The tone of the place is the perfect setting for all occasions A big " THANK YOU " to the Cook, all the pleasant Staff, and whoever owns the lovely place.

Best meal out we've had in years. Fantastic food cooked and seasoned to perfection, friendly service. Cosy atmosphere. Expensive and probably wouldn't take the children but perfect for a treat. Wine was also delicious.
