Doctors are great BUT the centre policy of employing office staff that live in the community is unnerving. Having to rely on receptionist to give medical information or results is not good or appropriate as all questions cannot be answered by them resulting in further delays. With regards to staff that live in the community I am not comfortable that they can access medical records of those that live in the area, well aware that they sign a disclosure but still think this wrong and the office staff is to deal with the running of the business and not to give out medical related info. Some of the receptionist clearly don't care or have manners for the patients over the phone from what I have been told.

The doctors here are really helpful and kind. However, whoever at reception is in charge of picking up the phone for appointments is incredibly rude and rushed with patients. Really quite unnerving for patients calling in who may/may not be in a state of distress/illness. Its the job of reception to be responsive, kind and patient with customers, and the lady who takes calls at this centre is none of these things. Very dissappointing.

This surgery operates a model by which there are last minute appointments available every day. They do early surgery at least once a week. It can be hard to get an answer during the early morning rush but this is excuasble given the number of calls they have for that days appointments. Much rather that than not be able to get an appointment for 2 weeks - like other surgeries. The Drs here are very professional and know their stuff. there is a real community feel about the surgery where drs are not afraid to ask others' for their opinion.

Receptionists are a law to themselves - they don't know what's on their website and give conflicting information. Apparently no one over 55 is getting a flu jag at all despite government advice and their own website. Drs and nurses are good once you actually manage to get an appointment which usually takes weeks

Modern centre that's trying it's best in an area with a high % of elderly patients. Drs we've seen have always been great and it was the first in Scotland to start vaccinations for Covid locally.
