If you're going for a Shop/Cinema/Meal (which would easily take more than 5 hours) then don't bother

If you're going for a Shop/Cinema/Meal (which would easily take more than 5 hours) then don't bother as you'll get a Penalty Charge Notice from MET demanding £100 (£60 if paid within 14 days). The max stay is 300 mins and there are no exceptions. So, either watch a very short film, eat really quickly, or just go somewhere else.

Went to watch star wars and was there for 3 hours but got a £100 ticket telling me I has been there for 5 hours. Beware as their parking system must be faulty. Cineworld refused to help and provided shocking customer service
