Can't fault this place at all. All the staff including anesthetists, nurses, consultants and reception are so helpful and friendly. Made my day care sail through with no hassle and was kept informed all the way through.

I was admitted from NHS to this hospital. I hate writing reviews but this people deserve this review :) first I don't feel like in hospital at all, I get a lot of privacy and is extremely clean. People in hospital started from receptionist up to Dr. Morassi are very professional , kind ,helpful and caring. From beginning of my procedure everyone treated me with dignity and respect and give me all information. I extremely recommend this hospital. And I would like to say THANK YOU to Dr. Morassi and all people looking after me and give me this wonderful experience

My partner recently had a bowel operation outsourced here by NHS. He was treated like a prince in a nice hotel on the day but zero aftercare offered, poor post-operative instructions (I found better on the internet), incredible pain with inappropriate pain relief provided (which gave him a bad stomach as well) and even worse, operation failed to rectify problem. He also had to stay off work much longer than advised as he was so poorly. NHS need to sort their service out and not outsource to private hospitals whose idea of aftercare is 'go to A&E if you have any problems because we can't re-admit you.'

The treatment and care I received on the day of my minor surgery was great, no issues there. BUT... What happened afterwards is absolutely shocking and unacceptable! First of all the hospital changed my follow up appointment date, which would not be an issue, but the problem is they forgot to inform me about it. I found out about the new date by accident when I logged into my Spire account. The follow up appointment took place over the phone where my doctor issued a prescription and advised this would be sent to me by post. It never happened. I tried to contact the hospital a few times but nobody could or wanted to help. They gave me another phone number to Dr Topham's office, which I called 4 times (!!!!!) in the past 2 months. The staff told me every time that they are looking into it and they would call me or email me back once resolved. 2.5 months after my surgery I still did not receive the prescription nor I have any clue how I am going to receive it. On the top of it, they double charged me for the surgery. They issued an invoice a few days after the surgery, then out of the blue they charged me again 2 months later for the same surgery. They had the energy to double charge me but they could not care less to make sure I receive that missing prescription, which is vital for my aftercare. I just don't understand how can a private hospital provide such a horrible service?! They need to do something with their rubbish admin staff ASAP.

There are a couple of reasons why I wouldn't recommend this hospital. For a private hospital it was not very well managed and the admin is not great. Their were numerous times when I had made appointment, turned up and no one knew about the appointment. Meaning I had to make another appointment, wasting my time. They also had made appointments for me, without telling me, then calling and asking why I hadn't attended. There was a time I even had to ask to talk to senior management to get an appointment in imaging because of a mistake they had made cancelling my appointment, then not telling me and not booking another one. Luckily they were able to get me in before I had to leave the country for work. I have been to other private hospitals in the area and I generally felt that the service I got here compared to others was sub par. As clients you are spending a lot of money for this service and you should feel you are getting your moneys worth and what you pay for. Here I just didn't feel this was the case. I have now asked BUPA not to book appointments at this location in the future if they can help it. I truly hope that these problems have been looked into and rectified. The nurses were lovely however and I do not feel that this negative review should in anyway tarnish them.
