Our goto pub for drinks and dinner in the Bristol/Bath countryside. The Lock Keeper has a lovely setting with alfresco and conservatory dining. The menu is modern with a classic edge and the dishes are well crafted with clearly well sourced fresh produce.

This is a great pub by the canal. Have been before and the food was great but the roast today was very poor. Hopefully this is just a one off.

Had a fantastic meal there yesterday. The staff were so friendly and the service was amazing, nothing more could have been done to improve our time at The Lock Keeper. Even our dog was made so welcome, a few little treats were given to him. After our meal we sat outside of the terrace, amazing for December, blankets were available along with heaters. Couldn't recommend a visit to The Lock Keeper enough.

Walked from Bristol to Bath with a lunch break at the Lock Keeper. Beautiful old pub with a lovely garden area by the river Avon. Small but good selection of cider and ales. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic - had one of the best sticky toffee puds too.

Having just moved to the area, we thought we would try this pub. We hadn't booked and just walked in and the staff went out of their way to seat us, despite it being Saturday night and fully booked. A lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious and plentiful. The best part though, was the service, All staff were friendly and welcoming especially the manager (I believe) who served us, they couldn't do enough for us, will definitely make this our local. Lovely
