Such a unique little obscure book store; it is certainly a refuge from the bustling city outside where inside you can browse their impressive variety of books. There's a myriad of niche titles bundled away with the bestsellers and the classics. The staff really go the extra mile and do an excellent job of creating an accomodating, friendly, diverse atmosphere where I guarantee anyone will feel welcome. I truly appreciate this little interlude from city life and if I lived closer to York, I'd likely set up residency in this store! This unconventional little store will satisfy any book worm's literary cravings in a matter of minutes and I would definitely recommend going out of your way to find this gem. :)

This is such a cute bookstore and the bookseller was very cheerful and helpful with my random question: Do you have any books set in York. She was able to recommend Behind the Scenes at the museum ( that was sadly sold out) and Murder by the Minster ( or a follow the Body at the Bookshop). She recommend Murder by the Minster which is actually the first in a series. If you are in York I would highly recommend
