So we stayed at the King’s Head Inn in Salisbury last night... when we first walked in I was like huh... old world inn mixed with... want to be North American schlock? Then I slept in their king bed with feather duvet and pillows, had an extraordinary shower, and a most excellent cheap breakfast and I’m sold... this place is amazing! All the locals congregate for good food and drinks. I am super charmed! Also shopping for good down duvets and pillows now!!

Pretty I'll after a meal here. (review edit) YES I DID Contact a member of your staff!! You basically said 'you can't prove it, so it wasn't us'!!! Although i had eaten only breakfast that day, had 2 pints of beer, and was extremely ill 4-5 hours after i ate here, i had gammon and eggs. I asked for a refund on the food too and no fudges were give by your staff.

It's a Wetherspoons ... so you should know what to expect. All-day opening, food from cooked breakfasts through lunch to dinner. Tea and coffee. Cheap wine. Hobbling pensioners, push-chairs full of shrieking children, a few drunks. Tables that take an age to be cleared of the previous occupants' dirty plates and glasses. I have previously compared the 'atmosphere' to a Woolworths cafeteria in 1971. Not the freshest beer in the land, nor the best-kept. But low low prices. That's the bottom line. The choice is yours ...

Being from the Netherlands we've had a weird experience having lunch here.. there's no table service and the table's are rarely cleaned. I did however notice that a lot a places in the UK do this. The food was very good though, But customer service should improve. If they're wishing to appeal to more than just british guests.

With the exception of parking, which is a short walk away and chargeable, I was very happy with this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and very quiet, despite being situated above the pub. The ethos of the hotel seems to be, keep the prices reasonable and the customers will return, and we will! Great staff, very friendly. The reception staff especially Damian was very helpful and advised where we should visit. He even printed off some maps for us so that we wouldn’t get lost. Excellent breakfast options, for veggies and vegans. All the ordering of drinks and food was done via their app and was impressed with how it worked. The location is superb, right next to a river and very picturesque. The hotel was also right in the city so perfect for shopping.
