Took the tour twice already and in both times I learned so much about C.S. Lewis's life. It's excellent value and the guides are super eager to share what they know. It only lasts for an hour or so, so there's plenty of time to enjoy other stuff around the city.

This little park could be so much nicer. It is obvious that it was once a gorgeous place to wander and think, as C S Lewis apparently did. But now there is a lot of trash around, the trails are overgrown in areas, and not well marked. The pond was filthy and greasy looking, and quite polluted. All in all, it wasn't a terribly pleasant experience, but it could be absolutely amazing with some work.

Excellent tour. Lasted an hour and a half. The warden led us through different rooms while recounting Lewis’s life through stories and letters from biographies and memoirs, and pointing out the uses and restoration of each room. He also told us about the history and restoration of the house. Humorous, informative, professional, lots to learn — an excellent tour and well worth the £15 ticket.

A great little walk, bigger than we thought, but still a nice short walk. It was a little muddy when we went (February) so we just about got away with shoes. As buggy is a no go unless you just want to have a quick look at the pond/lake as the other parts of the path are quite steep and there are steps along the way around.
