Good massage in a 5 stars hotel. The place is clean, quite and relaxing at 21st floor of Emporium hotel just next to train station South Bank- touristic area. The massage itself was good but not exceptional. The place is small and the price is more expensive than normal massage shops for similar quality. I would say you go there for the ambiance, you have your own room, even though it's small but without street noise or other customers. The music was relaxing, however, there was a fan or type or machine just next to massage bed which is a bit noisy for me. The Ganbanyoku is a dry Japaneae sauna, hot room to relax, i felt asleep inside, a new experience. Interesting. However, if you just want to try it, they have other shop in Paddington with similar services but much cheaper due to location probably. It's nice to enjoy the complementary soft drink or a bit extra for alcolho drink in the rooftop terrace bar in front of the spa, part of Emporium hotel.

Had a 1 hour long hot rock garden (gambanyoku) session followed by 1 hour full body massage. You start with a nice footbath where they swap your shoes for sandals. You then dress in a top and bottom combo for the hot rock garden. (Take your sandals off before going in :D ) The hot rock garden is a great place to sweat out stress and sweat you will. The massage was amazing. I went in pretty stiff and left very much relaxed. Almost falling asleep at how good it felt. My masseuse was great at targeting my tight spots and her technique was fascinating. Before you leave they serve you with some sort of rice tea which was delicious. The service was fantastic and they were very kind to me even though I didn't know what I was suppose to do as it was my first time.
